School at last
We had a much better ride back to Kathmandu than we did leaving a week ago. A little bad traffic, but nothing the driver couldn’t handle. After dropping Howie at the hotel, the guide took me to the school that … Continue reading
Peace Pagoda
Howie wasn’t feeling good and wanted to rest. The guide took me across Fewa Lake and up the Napali ‘stair master’ to the World Peace Pagoda. Later we visited the Seti River gorge and regional museum.

How long can you hold your breath?
We drove from 8am to 3 pm on mountain roads that rivaled Morocco roads for windy, narrow, crowded, and dangerous. When we begged for a toilet, the driver stopped at the most disgusting, smelly toilet known to man. I almost … Continue reading

I am temple-ing out
Nepali temples are starting to all look alike. We stayed in the last hotel for the sunrise view over the mountains. Unfortunately, heavy cloud cover obscured the view. Down the mountain to Patan City and its Durbar Square and Kumari … Continue reading
