Stone Town is a world heritage site – a functioning historical town. It is full of winding, twisting narrow streets. Unfortunately, at street level it is hot and humid.
Zanzibar is called the spice island. It is the chief producer of cloves in the world. Other spices are mainly for local use.
We went snorkling this morning, then Howie slept all afternoon because he was tired. I read by the beach. Generally a good day.
Internet/ pool/ reading by the beach/ walk on the beach. The day we needed.
OMG! are we really flying in those planes? And then they took us off because the left engine was having issues and put us back on 15 minutes later. By God’s graces we made it to Zanzibar.
